One of the most disturbing outcomes of rapid urbanization in least industrialized countries is the inability to manage land development in rapidly growing cities. Many of the present large cities in Africa for example, have sprawled beyond the limits of the city authorities to provide the basic infrastructure services such as piped water, electricity, sewerage and roads to a point where their efficacy is greatly reduced, but it also adds considerably to the costs of such services as education, health and transport.
View issueThe outbreak of the coronavirus popularly known as COVID - 19, has no doubt, shut down economies globally. In response to curbing the spread of the novel virus, governments all over the world instigated strict restrictions on travels and businesses, as well as placing certain bans on social gatherings. The more dire reality is, these various restrictions, grounded both industrial and social activities. Consequently, this impacted socio- economic activities in Nigeria negatively.
View issueThe aim of the present paper is to investigate the role of individual and societal attitudes perception in shaping the entrepreneurial behavioral intentions of the individual through the lenses of The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to find out whether the university students will have intentions to become entrepreneurs. The survey of 395 of graduate and undergraduate students across four colleges at the University of Khartoum was used for data collection.
