The 1st ASRIC Bureau meeting was held in Abuja, Nigeria from the 7-9 March 2019 to discuss on the full operationalization of the ASRIC following the successful election of the Bureau and the outcome of the 1st ASRIC Congress in November, 2018. Considering the eminent role that the ASRIC would play in research and innovation landscape of the continent and in the strategic implementation of the STISA 2024, there is strong need for full functionalization of the ASRIC.
